
This tutorial was written in PSP9. A working knowledge of PSP is assumed.
Supplies Needed
Tube of choice. (One with a close up works best.)
I am using the beautiful art of Caron Vinson, which I purchased from CDO.
BP_template113, made by me.
Mask, edge canvas02. I do not know the maker of this mask.
Filters Unlimited2 (if you don't have this, just google for free demo)
Font used is MeaCulpa
Optional - butterflies, and other elements of choice.
Note: This tutorial is written for the materials I used. If you are using something different you may need to adjust some settings.
* IPL = In Palette Layers
# I'll warn you now, We will be making several different gradient colors with this tut. So I hope you like gradient colors. lol
Let's Begin
Open the template in PSP. Type Shift and d to duplicate. Delete original. IPL, delete the info layer.
Go up to Image - Canvas Size. Change to 650 x 500 pixels. This will give you just a little more room to work with. You can resize your tag later. Click on the white background layer and refill with white.
Make a gradient color
Make your foreground color 6fcaf9 and the background color 88bb45. In foreground click the gradient tab. Style is Linear. Angle = 0. Repeats = 0. Invert box is checked.
Click the white background layer. Layers - New Raster Layer. Fill with the gradient color. Apply the mask. Layers - Merge - Merge group. Reduce opacity to 60%.

Click on the rectangle 2 background layer. Selections - Select All - Float - Defloat. Layers - New Raster Layer. Fill with black. Selections - Select None. Add a drop shadow. H & V = 2. Opacity = 60. Blur = 5. Color is black. IPL, delete the original rectangle 2 background layer.
Repeat these steps for rectangle 1 background.

Make a new gradient color.
Foreground color is 88bb45, and background color is b3e6fd. In foreground palette click the gradient tab. Style is Linear. Angle = 45. Repeats = 3. Uncheck invert box.
Click on rectangle 2. Selections - Select All - Float - Defloat. Layers - New Raster Layer. Fill with the new gradient color. Selections - Select None. IPL delete the original rectangle 2. Go to Effects - Texture Effects - Weave. Gap size = 2. Width = 8. Opacity = 1. Gap color is white. Check box for fill gaps.

New Gradient Color
Foreground color is 88bb45 and background color is 88bb45. Keep the same gradient settings as last used.
Click on rectangle 1. Selections - Select All - Float - Defloat. Layers - New Raster Layer. Fill with this new gradient color. Selections - Select None. IPL delete the original rectangle 1. Go to Effects - Texture Effects - Blinds. Settings: Width = 10. Opacity = 15. Color is 4b7d1f. Put check in box for Horizontal and light from left.
Still on rectangle 1. Go to Effects - PlugIns - Filters Unlimited. Select paper textures. Select Striped paper fine. Set Intensity to 40. Lightness to 127.

Click frame 1 fill. Go back to Filters Unlimited. This time select Render. Click on Clouds (white/blue) Adjust the Cloud type and Gamma settings to your preference.
Make your foreground color b3e6fd. Use the change to color tool, size 300 and opacity at 100. Run your cursor over the frame fill at least once.
Still on the frame fill. Effects - Texture Effects - Weave. Settings. Gap size = 1. Width = 6. Opacity = 1. Gap color is white. Put check in fill gap box.
Repeat these steps for frame 2 fill.

New Gratient Color
Make your foreground color ff7a3b and background color ffbc60. In foreground click the grandient tab. Style = Linear. Angle = 45. Repeats = 5.
Click on circle 2. Selections - Select All - Float - Defloat. Layers - New Raster Layer. Fill with the new gradient c olor. Selections - Select none. IPL deleate original circle 2. Adjust - Add/Remove Noise - Add Noise. Set to 15 - uniform.
Effects - 3D Effects - Inner Bevel. Settings: Bevel 2. Width = 31. Smoothness = 30. Depth = 2. Ambience and Shininess = 0. Add a drop shadow. H & V = 1. Opacity = 60. Blur = 4. Color is black.
Click on circle 2 overlap and repeat all the steps for circle 2, except leave off the drop shadow.

Foreground color is b0436c, and background color is ef659c. Keep gradient settings the same as for circle 2.
Click on circle 1. Selections - Select All - Float - Defloat. Layers - New Raster Layer. Fill with the new gradient c olor. Selections - Select none. IPL deleate original circle 1. Effects - 3D Effects - Inner Bevel. Settings: Bevel 2. Width = 31. Smoothness = 30. Depth = 2. Ambience and Shininess = 0. Add a drop shadow. H & V = 1. Opacity = 60. Blur = 4. Color is black.
Click on circle 1 overlap and repeat all the steps for circle 1, except leave off the drop shadow.

Foreground color is f55593 and background color is ff9d4b. Keep gradient settings the same as last used, except change the repeats to 3.
Click on frame 1. Selections - Select All - Float - Defloat. Layers - New Raster Layer. Fill with new gradient color. Selections - Modify - Expand by 1. Layers - New Raster Layer. Fill with black. Selections - Select None. IPL, delete the original frame 1. Move the gradient frame layer above the black frame layer. Apply the same noise and bevel effect you used for circle 1.
Repeat these steps for frame 2.

Click on frame 2 trim. Selections - Select All - Float - Defloat. Layers - New Raster Layer. Fill with white. Selections - Select none. IPL, delete the original frame 2 trim. Use your magic wand to click inside frame 2. Selections - Modify - Expand, set to 6. Click on your tube close up and mirror. Copy and paste onto your tag. Position it into frame 2 as you like. Selections - Invert. Delete. Selections - Select None.
Effects - PlugIns - Filters Unlimited. Select Image Enhancement - Color Booster. Set to 30. Add a drop shadow. H & V = 2. Opacity = 60. Blur = 10. Color is black. IPL move the tube layer below frame 2 trim layer.
Add a drop shadow to frame 2 trim layer. H & V = 2. Opacity = 60. Blur = 6. Color is black.
Click on frame 1 trim. Selections - Select All - Float - Defloat. Layers - New Raster Layer. Fill with white. Selections - Select none. IPL, delete the original frame 1 trim. Add a drop shadow to frame 1 trim layer. H & V = 2. Opacity = 60. Blur = 6. Color is black.

Paste, as a new layer, your tube. Mirror. Resize down to 80%. Appy the same color booster effect that you used for the close up. Position your tube in front of frame 1. See my tag. Apply the same drop shadow that you used for the closeup tube.

Click on the leafy vine. Selections - Select All - Float - Defloat. Layers - New Raster Layer. Fill with new gradient. Selections - Select None. IPL, delete original vine layer.
Adjust - Add/Remove Noise - Add Noise. Set to 20 - uniform. Effects - 3D - Inner Bevel. Same settings as used for frames and circles. Add a drop shadow. H & V = 1. Opacity = 60. Blur = 4. Color is black.

Foreground color is ff9d4b and background color is ffc49d. In foreground, click the gradient tab. Style = Sunburst. Angle = 0. Repeat = 1. Uncheck invert box.
Click on small flower 1. Selections - Select All - Float - Defloat. Layers - New Raster Layer. Fill with new gradient color. Selections - Select None. IPL delete original flower 1. Apply the noise effect with setting at 10 uniform. Add drop shadow. Same as used for leafy vine.
Apply these steps to all the small flowers.

Click on large flower 1. Selections - Select All - Float - Defloat. Layers - New Raster Layer. Fill with new gradient color. Selections - Select None. IPL, delete original large flower 1. Go to Filters Unlimited - Image Enhancement - Paper Textures - Canvas Fine. Settings: Intensity = 65. Lightness = 87. Add same drop shadow as last used.
Repeat these steps for large flower 2.

Click on large flower 1 center. Selections - Select All - Float - Defloat. Layers - New Raster Layer. Fill with just the foreground color from the last gradient. Selections - Modify - Expand by 1. Layers - New Raster Layer. Fill with this color e6528a. Selections - Select None. IPL, delete original large flower 1 center. Move the darker center below the lighter one. Click on the darker. Adjust - Blur - Gaussian Blur, set at 4. Click on the lighter center. Effects - Texture Effects - Weave. Settings: Gap size = 1. Width = 6. Opacity = 1. Gap color is white. Put check in fill gap box. Apply the same Inner Bevel effect you've been using. Add a drop shadow. H & V = 1. Opacity = 60. Blur = 4. Color is black.
Repeat these steps for large flower 2 center.

Optional: If you like, add a butterfly or two, or a bird, or whatever you like.
IPL right click any layer and merge visible.
Add correct copyright info.
Save as a png or jpeg file.
For the name text, I used the font MeaCulpa size 48. Background color 36650a. A drop shadow, and that's it.
