IPL = In Palette Layers
Let's Begin
Open template140 in PSP. Duplicate, then delete the original. IPL, delete the info layer and all shadow layers.
Click on the white background layer. Now add a New Raster layer. Fill with this color a5a8b6. Apply the canvas02 mask. Layers - Merge - Merge Group. Resize down to 90%. Duplicate. Resize the duplicate down to 95%.
I decided I liked the color of all the backgrounds and so left them as is and added this drop shadow to each. H & V = 3. Opacity = 75. Blur = 6. Color is black.
Create a gradient color using these colors. Foreground is same color used for mask, a5a8b6. Background is black, #000000. In foreground palette click the gradient tab. Settings are Style = Linear. Angle = 45. Repeats = 5.
Click on the black rectangle layer. Selections - Float - Defloat. Layers - New Raster Layer. Fill with gradient color. Selections - Modify - Expand - by 1. Layers - New Raster Layer. Fill with black. Selections - Select None. IPL, delete the original black rectangle layer.
Move the gradient layer above the new black layer. Add the same drop shadow last used, to the black layer.
Click the gradient layer. Effects - Textures - Blinds. Settings: Width = 4. Opacity = 30. Color is black. Check Horizontal.
Click the circle. Selections - Select All - Float - Defloat. Layers - New Raster Layer. Fill with a background paper of choice. Selections - Modify - Expand - by 1. Layers - New Raster Layer. Fill with black. Selections - Select None. IPL, Delete the original circle layer. Next, move the black layer below the paper layer. Add the same drop shadow to the black layer.
Click the paper layer. Effects - PlugIns - Xero - Porcelian. Settings: Softness = 50. Strength and Brightness = 128. Red and Blue Channel = 100. Green channel = 0.
Create a new gradient color. Foreground is fcd0cf, and background is
b04441. Keep same settings as used before.
Click the heart circle layer. Selections - Selct All - float - Defloat. Layers - New Raster Layer. Fill with new gradient color. Selections - Modify - Expand - by 1. Layers - New Raster Layer - Fill with black. Selections - Select None.
IPL, delete the original heart circle layer. Move the black layer below the gradient layer. Add drop shadow to black layer.
Click on the gradient layer. Effects - 3D - Inner Bevel. Settings: Bevel #2. Width = 31. Smoothness = 25. Depth = 2. Ambience and Shine = 0. IPL, right click the pink heart circle and merge down with the black.
Repeat these steps for the two hearts.
Ok, now for the really fun part. lol
Oh, first off, I left the text and the bar layers black.
Click on the PUT layer. With your magic wand, click the P. Select two or three tubes. Make them any size you like. Paste one as a new layer. Position it inside the P to your liking. Paste as a new layer, another tube. Do as many as you like. I think I used 3. Selections - Invert. Click on each tube and hit delete. This gets rid of the over hang. Selections - Select None. IPL right click the top tube layer and merge it down to the second tube. Now right click this layer and merge it down with the third tube. That should take care of the 1st P.
Repeat these steps for the U and then the 2nd P. Once you have them go to Palette layers. Right click the top P's Images and merge down to the U's images. Right click and merge down with the first P images.
All your tube images should now be on one layer. Effects - PlugIns - Xero - Porcelian. Same settings as first used.
Right click the tube layer and duplicate twice. You want 3 tube layers total.
Click the top tube layer. Adjust - Blur - Gaussian Blur - set to 3. Set Blend Mode to Soft Light.
Click the middle tube layer. Effects - PlugIns - Cybia - Screenworks. Select any pattern you like. I chose Light Gauze. Reduce Opacity to 50.
Click the bottom tube layer. Change Blend Mode to Luminance L.
Now, paste, as a new layer two full length tubes. Resize to your liking. I resized mine down to 80%. Place one on each side of the PUT. Add a drop shadow. H & V = 1. Opacity = 75. Blur = 4. Color is black.
Add any embellishments you like.
Layers - Merge - Merge Visible.
Add copyright info and a name. Save.
